September 12th, 2009 – It was another beautiful September day for the wedding of Jenna & Adam in Durand, WI. Perfect blue skies along with puffy white clouds. As you enter Durand coming from the west, one of the first things you see is St. Mary’s Catholic Church sitting high above the road. Truly a sight to see as well as a perfect place for a portrait…

Jenna’s bridal bouquet of calla lilies were very simple, yet elegant…

Before moving into group portraits, they snuck a kiss to each other as they walked alongside the church…

There’s always some anticipation prior to the ceremony. Jenna’s mother stood close by and by the looks of them, it appears they weren’t too nervous…

After Adam walked his parents down the aisle, he gave each of them a nice big hug…

Jenna’s father reaching for her arm as they begin down the aisle…

and gave big hugs to each of them.

Most wedding ceremonies have the same or a very similar order of events. When photographing a ceremony, there are many ways to view it. It all depends on where you look…

Their families and friends were so happy for them after the ceremony!

Once they finished with their receiving line, we headed to Buena Vista Park in Alma, WI for some more outdoor portraits…

After that, we went to Wabasha, MN for the wedding reception at Slippery’s Restaurant. Before heading inside, we took some photos by the Mississippi River.

Once inside, they cut their wedding cake…

It was picture perfect wedding day and I was honored to be a part of it, Jenna & Adam! I wish you both the best and may these photos help you both relive that wonderful day in September!!!
