Jessica & Brandon | Nodine & Pickwick, MN wedding

Family.

Friends.

And love.

What more could you ask for?

Absolutely nothing better to spend your wedding day with your closest friends & family. That’s what it was like for Jessica & Brandon’s wedding day. Two kids growing up in “small-town Minnesota”, who ended up getting married after spending a number of years together. The little church in Nodine, MN was filled to standing room only and the wedding reception had even more guests to help them celebrate. Their wedding was fun for me too, as I happened to know a few members of the bridal party, as well as a number of their guests. They even mixed in a little birthday celebration as it was the Maid of Honor’s birthday on their wedding date.

The day started off with the two of them seeing each other for the first time. The anticipation was obvious, but Jessica was all smiles…

After some portraits, I had a chance to create a nice shot of the wedding rings with Jessica’s bouquet…

Jessica was well hidden in the basement of the church as the guests filled the church…

During the processional, Jessica and her father were all smiles as well…

After sealing the deal, there was a little “woot woot” as they proceeded back down the aisle, this time as husband & wife…

Smiles were all around…

There was a special guest who couldn’t be in the wedding, so we came to him. Jessica is the proud owner of Tahoe, a beautiful horse…

After some outdoor portraits, everyone made their way to the bus which was their mode of transportation to a few bars in the area before heading to the reception. Brandon got a kiss from his mother before taking off…

What’s a celebration without a little dancing? A groomsman took his turn with a little dance with Jessica at Bergie’s Bar…

When then made our way to the Pickwick Inn for one last stop before the reception. Jessica & Brandon rode in the fire truck on the way there – with all the bells & whistles…

As a volunteer firefighter, we made sure to get a nice portrait next to it…

Here’s some images & scenes from the reception…

The Best Man had a gift for Brandon, along with the history behind it. I present to you, the one & only man-purse.

It was truly a calming and peaceful setting at the home of Brandon’s parents, where the reception took place…

The first dance between the two of them started the dance off right…

While it’s been a few years in the making, it goes to show that true love will stand the test of time. I wish you both a wonderful & happy life together. Congrats again, Jessica & Brandon!
