It was a full 15-hour day being surrounded by family & friends, laughter & tears, sunshine & some rain, but most obvious of all – love. I truly felt like I was part of the family. Granted, it wasn’t the first time I’ve met/seen most of the family as I first met Megan & Brian at her brother’s wedding in 2009.
Like in 2009, there was no shortage of fun to be had! When the family wants to have fun – they do and they don’t mess around. When they have surprises – they don’t let the secret slip. (Brian said he wanted feathers at his wedding, and well, he got them!) When they say that they dance – they do and they don’t stop until the end of the reception!
I’m truly grateful to have met this family. They are some of the most thoughtful & caring people I’ve ever met. They are always looking out for each other. They are up front & honest with you and always making sure that you have what you need or to lend a helping hand. I just wanted to personally say, “Thank you.” – to each and every one of you who helped me in one way or another and/or chatted with me – it really helps when I’m away from my own family. A special “thank you” to Megan’s parents as you were always concerned if I needed anything.
To Megan & Brian, “Thank you” for allowing me to document your wedding day. I hope the images to follow, allow you to re-live the day as it happened. Remember, it all started with that awkward kiss! (I remember the story) I hope that your love for each other grows stronger each and every day. Never forget the love you felt, not only for each other, but from your family & friends during your wedding. Be there for each other and always remember that your family will be there for you both. Always.
