To my knowledge, this is the only panoramic of Winona, Minnesota‘s riverfront as viewed from Latsch Island. It features a number of prominent Winona landmarks nestled under the bluffs: The Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka, Sugar Loaf Bluff, J.R. Watkins building, The Kensington, Winona County Courthouse and the Interstate Bridge – all of which are reflected by a calm, mirror-smooth Mississippi River – agruably the best feature of Winona, Minnesota. Even more unique, the Julius C. Wilkie steamboat, razed in 2008, is centered in the middle of the image.
The canvas comes ready to hang with a protective dust cover on the back as well as pre-installed mounting hardware. It’s small enough to fit over a couch, yet big enough to create a beautiful & artistic focal point in your home or business. This panoramic canvas would be perfect for the person who loves the little river city of Winona, Minnesota.
