last light painting wedding portrait of 2012

My last light painting wedding portrait I created in 2012. It was a good one too! During their reception at Somerby Golf Club, the storms were moving in and bringing winds and showers in the area. However, a nice little gap between rain allowed us to create something beautiful and magical.

Maria & Mark – a Norskedalen wedding

If you were able to plan the wedding of your dreams, what would it include? Where would you hold the wedding? What kind of decorations would you use? How would you make the guest’s experience one that they would remember? With the help & planning from Weddings By Nancy, Maria & Mark’s wedding provided this and so much more.

Now don’t get me wrong. A wedding is not just about the details. The most important part of any wedding is the love that two people share. There was no shortage of love between Maria & Mark. The emotion was powerful as they saw each other for the first time. That emotion was evident as the ceremony started. Now combine that love with the love from family & friends. Plenty of happy tears were shared by many present.

Granted, it wasn’t the first time I’ve met/seen most of the family as I first met Megan & Brian at her brother’s wedding in 2009. Continue reading and to see their wedding photos

Megan, the bride. A bridal portrait.

Before seeing the groom for the first time on their wedding day, we took a few moments for some quick portraits after her mom & sister helped her with the dress. What do you think of this bridal portrait? I think she looks ready for a wedding, don’t you??
