August 1st was my first of six weddings this BUSY month and it started with a beautiful outdoor wedding which took place at the beautiful The Garten Marketplatz Perennial Farm near Byron, which is just outside of Rochester, Minnesota. What’s interesting is that Jess was a personal attendant at a previous outdoor wedding that I shot here in Winona for Melanie & Brian at Winona State University. Chances of rain were in the area, but stayed away for their wedding day! Continue reading about their Garten Marketplatz wedding

Also, I appreciate the patience of all of my recent clients and inquiries. It really has been a very busy past 30 days. I’ve basically averaged a shoot per day since July 17th. While it’s taking slightly longer to get through & post about past work, I promise to catch up soon!! Thank you to all of my clients – I’m very grateful for each & every one of you!!!
At my second wedding from this past weekend, I was presented with this elegant & beautiful bride wearing a birdcage veil… and the look was fitting for her wedding.
Ab-so-lute-ly stunning!!!

I love all of my clients. Each and every one of them. Each of them are so unique in their own way. They really are the best…
Love in the fast lane…
That would be a good description for Ashley & Tony’s wedding. They both have many ties to auto racing from relatives in the sport as well as Tony being a mechanic & race car driver himself. You could say that racing is in their blood and not be far from the truth at all. On July 25th, I was in Holmen, WI for their wedding when it actually wasn’t too long ago during March that I was taking their engagement pictures in La Crosse. Their smiles said it all their wedding day. And a beautiful day it was… Read More

Just one week before Rachel & Ryan’s wedding, I shot the wedding for a sibling of one of my previous clients from two years ago. Rachel is the sibling of and was a bridesmaid in Shannen & Nick’s wedding in La Crosse, WI. Once again, it truly is a pleasure for me to see past clients & their families come together and share their love for those two people in love. The first wedding of my double-header wedding weekend two weeks ago was in La Crosse, WI at Pettibone Resort. Not only was there a marriage happening, but there was a family being formed. You see on Mother’s Day, Jordan proposed to Amber while they were on a walk in the woods with Amber’s 4 year old daughter. He not only asked her to be his wife – he also turned to Amber’s daughter and asked her if he could marry her mommy. That’s beautiful. Equally beautiful, they now share another daughter together – cute as can be at 8 months old. So not only was I shooting a wedding, but I was witness to a family of four become one. Nearly two weeks ago, I traveled down through rural Minnesota to Caledonia and met with my future wedding clients Stephanie & Geoff for their engagement pictures. They love the outdoors so we planned to go to Beaver Creek Valley State Park for a perfect natural backdrop.
We crossed creeks and climbed rocky terrain, but I think it was totally worth it! What do you think?

I look forward to the wedding in October you two!!!
