On April 12th, I was the wedding photographer for Jenika & John’s wedding in Albert Lea, MN. While winter didn’t want to let go with gusty winds and “balmy” temps in the 30′s, it was plenty warm inside from the love of both families. To make the wedding even more special, not only was each family incorporated into the ceremony, but it was the exact same church that Jenika’s grandmother was married exactly 62 years ago to the day. How cool is that?
Here are some of the photos from their special wedding day:

What’s a wedding without some flashy socks?? One of Jenika’s brothers was not afraid to sport some…

Here we have Jenika posing ever so beautifully in front of the altar. Her dress was equally as beautiful as her.

Angelic… that’s how I describe Jenika…

We guys need a little help sometimes when it comes to clothing…

Here we have John admiring his beautiful bride…

Feel the love…

The stained glass windows were very nice at Salem Church – made for very moody lighting…

It had rained and snowed the day before, which resulted in a nice photo opportunity…

Jenika’s two brothers were the ushers and here they are with their grandmother before walking down the aisle. She was married at the same altar you see in the background exactly 62 years ago.

A kiss for grandma…

Congrats to you both, Jenika and John! I wish you both the best and it was my pleasure to be your wedding photographer!
